Who I am?
Hi, I’m Saad Iftikhar, a product-oriented Senior Mobile Developer and Open Source Contributor with experience in the development of fintech, healthcare, loyalty program, e-commerce, ride-hailing and hospitality applications for large scale products. I’ve built scalable Android and Flutter apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Dart, KMP and CMP with high focus on performance, clean code, scalability and user experience. I also actively use AI tools in my day-to-day workflow to improve productivity, speed up development, optimize problem-solving and offer better solutions faster.
I don't see myself as just a developer, I see myself as a business problem solver, coding is just the execution part. I believe great products are not just technically sound but also successful in the realm of user experience, retention, and business growth. Because of that, I always try to think beyond assigned tasks, understand the purpose behind features, and make sure the work I do actually adds value to the product.
I love owning features from planning through delivery and treat every product as if it’s mine. I care whether the product succeeds in the market or not. That mindset makes me want to deliver my best, to come up with better solutions, to improve workflows, to reduce rework, and to get ideas on the table early so the team is solving the right problems from the beginning.
I also enjoy mentoring team members, contributing to clean engineering practices, and helping teams move faster without compromising quality. I focus on building scalable solutions that improve app stability, maintainability, and overall development efficiency. I adapt quickly to new challenges and enjoy taking responsibility in fast-paced environments.
My goal is to help build products that launch, compete, scale, retain users, and deliver real business impact.
